How to hide any file in android without using any application?

Do you have any software which is taking space in your phone just to hide some data (like images, videos, music or any type of file)?

Technically you don't have to download any software to hide any data on your smartphone.in this post I am gonna tell you about 2 methods to hide data on your phone just using your file manager.

METHOD 1:

HIDE FILES USING DOT METHOD:

1. Open your file manager and go in options(option button be available at the home page of your file manager).

2. Enable show hidden folders like shown in the image(just turn it on).

3. Create a new folder you can name it whatever you want but I am naming it as HIDE and to hide this folder we will add a dot before the name so name that folder as.HIDE like shown in the image below.

4.after creating that folder you will see that the folder is less visible(the opacity is decreased).

5.Put all the data inside the folder you created(the files you wanna hide)

6.Now go to the options panel again and disable the show hidden folder like shown below.

7.evey thing is done now your files are hidden now!!!!

HOW TO UNHIDE IT?

Answer:

to unhide the files you just have to enable the "show hidden files" option and you can see the.HIDE folder there and you can access your data.

METHOD 2:

HIDE FILES USING.TOR METHOD:

1.Select the file you wanna hide.

2.Rename it as "filename.tor"(you just have to add .tor at the end of the file name).

3.now this file will look like a virus and no one will ever try to open that, if any will click on the file,they will get a lot of option that how they wanna open that.

HOW TO UNHIDE IT?

Answer:

To unhide it or to change back it to its original form you just have to remove the .tor part by renaming it and it will be back in its original form.
